Terms & Conditions

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF SERVICE

The customer accepts the terms of service written in the contract as soon as the contract is signed by BOTH parties. The written contract lists out immediate issues that may arise during the install and does not have all contractual obligations written out.

PAYMENTS

Payments are due in two segments when the parts and labor are purchased through Blue Lake Home Theater. An initial payment to cover all parts will be collected before the Service is scheduled and completed. After the deposit has been collected and the parts ordered the Service will be scheduled upon arrival of all parts. When the job is completed (Completed is when the job is done according to signed contract) the final payment to cover labor is expected immediately. The customer has 30 days to pay in full and will be charged $30 for each month late on payment.

There will be no refunds on labor. Once the service is completed the customer has a 30 day labor warranty on all installed parts. Once the 30 days has expired the customer will be charged for additional Labor and parts to achieve the desired goal.

MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS OF SERVICE AND SERVICE

Blue Lake Home Theater may change the terms and conditions of the Service from time to time. Upon any such change, Blue Lake Home Theater will notify the Customer by posting the changes to www.bluelakehometheater.com. Blue Lake Home Theater reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service with or without notice to Customer. Blue Lake Home Theater shall not be liable to Customer or any third party should Blue Lake Home Theater exercise its right to modify or discontinue the Service. Customer’s use of the Service constitutes an affirmative agreement by Customer to abide and be bound by these Service Terms and its modifications.

CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO BACK-UP DATA

Customer agrees that prior to Blue Lake Home Theater servicing any Customer equipment it is the Customer's responsibility to (1) back-up the data, software, information or other files stored on Customer's computer disk drives, peripherals, MP3 player, DVD player, camcorder, digital camera and/or on any other electronic storage device; and (2) remove all videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film or other media from Customer's product. Customer agrees that whether or not Customer requests back-up services from Blue Lake Home Theater, Blue Lake Home Theater shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, disclosure, alteration or corruption of any data, software, information, files, videotapes, compact disks, floppy disks, laser disks, cassettes, DVDs, film or other media.
